It’s the weekend! My husband and I went for a walk today after I got home. Of course, I took the camera and he walked the dog. We walked around our town, Rockton, Illinois and enjoyed the weather. Rockton is my hometown, and now is my husband’s adopted town.

Of course, I took pictures of tulips. They appear to be my biggest obsession this spring… Well, tulips and flowering branches – but that’s a different post. What I have noticed is that the later in spring we get, the more varieties we have blooming. We’ve gone from plain red and plain yellow to many more colors and patterns and varieties, including some that have ridged petals, almost like they were trimmed with pinking shears.

I am considering having a giveaway like so many others do on their blogs but I wonder how much of a readership I have on this blog. Of course, those that do read this blog are here for my photography more than anything – so this would be the logical place to do a print-related give away.

Hmm. Something to think about, I imagine.
